Ores & Refined Materials

Nine raw ores are mined from the world and refined into nine materials — the feedstock for every vehicle, fitment and building in Taurion.

Refined Materials

Agarite

A base material used in most construction — light-weight but very strong. Vaporised at very high heat it acts as a catalyst in reactions that produce more specialised materials.

Refined from Trimideum 10K ore → 1K units.

Used for vehicle/fitment construction.

Borolium

Has many uses, but most commonly it is combined with agarite to create a super-strong alloy. On its own it is used extensively in weapons and energy reactors.

Refined from Talon 10K ore → 800 units.

Used for vehicle/fitment construction.

Chronogen

Crystals with a burnt reddish colour. Used across many applications, but especially in weaponry such as plasma systems.

Refined from Henoix 10K ore → 500 units.

DARR-4

Crystals with a bluish tint. Used widely, but especially in high-tech applications such as disrupter technology.

Refined from Orchanum 10K ore → 500 units.

Dull green crystals. Used across many applications, but especially in structural work such as improving armour.

FORTON-D

Quite rare. Alloyed with borolium it produces a highly mirrored finish on armour, useful for deflecting laser and plasma weapons.

Greophite

A super-conductive mineral alloy used in high-voltage applications. It can also be processed into a crystal lattice that is extremely hard — prized for armour and armour-piercing projectiles.

Helion

An inert gas used in high-capacity energy cells and reactors, and during the construction process for many applications.

Refined from Talgarite 10K ore → 250 units.

I-77E

I-77E

mat i

Incredibly rare and extremely precious — though only small amounts are needed. Used in high-precision laser lenses, high-explosives, and as an intermediary catalyst in manufacturing.

Where Ore Is Found

raw a (Trimideum)

common

Spread broadly across the whole map; the most widely distributed ore. Anchors many shared areas (often paired with raw b Talon) and appears alone at numerous centres in every quadrant.

raw b (Talon)

common

Broadly spread, very frequently paired with raw a (Trimideum) in shared areas, plus several Talon-only centres. Common across central and western/southern map regions.

raw c (Henoix)

low-mid

Clustered in the north / upper map band (e.g. centres around (1633,3025), (2243,1785), (878,3795)) and a few mid-western pockets. Always appears as a single-resource area.

raw d (Orchanum)

low-mid

Western / left-side single-resource centres (e.g. (-482,295), (-1607,1405), (-2112,235), (-3547,505), (-4312,2275), (-4477,1005)).

raw e (Kalanite)

mid

Southern / lower-central single-resource centres (e.g. (4143,-3835), (3188,-2345), (2023,-3935), (993,-1195), (173,-1855), (-137,-55)).

raw f (Voltar)

higher

Clusters toward the map extremes; appears both alone and paired with raw g (Ravolute) in higher-tier areas spread across north-east, central and far-west edges.

raw g (Ravolute)

higher

Higher-tier areas, usually paired with raw f (Voltar) or with raw h (Talgarite). Found toward the NE corner and scattered edge pockets.

raw h (Talgarite)

rare

Rarer, toward the map extremes; paired with raw g (Ravolute) or raw i (Liberite), with a couple of Talgarite-only centres (e.g. (-2107,-2415)). Concentrated near the NE and SW corners.

raw i (Liberite)

rarest

Rarest ore, only at the map extremes; always paired with raw h (Talgarite) at a handful of corner centres (e.g. (4958,-2185), (3898,-1405), (2768,-485), (-1212,-3945), (-2037,-3115)).
