Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website at https://taurion.io (the "Site"), operated by Autonomous Worlds Ltd, a company registered in Malta (company number C 87413) ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

These Terms apply to the Site only. They do not govern the Taurion game itself, which is separate on-chain software (see "The Taurion Game Is Separate and Experimental" below).

Eligibility and Age

The Site is intended for a general audience but is not directed to children under 16. By using the Site you confirm that you are at least 16 years old, or that you are using the Site under the supervision of a parent or guardian. If you are using the Site on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these Terms on its behalf.

The Site Is Informational Only

The Site is a static, informational resource: a marketing and game-encyclopedia ("Codex") about Taurion, a fully decentralised, on-chain sci-fi MMO. It lets you read pages and view images and 3D models.

The Site has no user accounts, no logins, no payment forms, no contact forms and no newsletter. We do not sell anything, take payments, or hold any funds through the Site. All content is provided for general information only and may be incomplete, out of date, or changed without notice.

Intellectual Property and Ownership

"Taurion", the Taurion name, logos, brand, lore, artwork, 3D models, text, images and the overall look and feel of the Site are owned by Autonomous Worlds Ltd and/or their respective owners, and are protected by intellectual-property laws. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

Some referenced names, marks and technologies (including Xaya, WCHI, Polygon and others) belong to their respective owners and are used for identification only. Nothing on the Site grants you any right to use any such marks.

Permitted Use and Restrictions

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to access and view the Site for your own personal, non-commercial use.

You agree that you will not:

• copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, sell, license or commercially exploit any part of the Site or its content without our prior written permission;
• modify, adapt, reverse-engineer or create derivative works from the Site or its content, except where the law expressly permits;
• use the Site in any way that is unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful, or that infringes the rights of others;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to, interfere with, damage or disrupt the Site, its servers, or any connected systems (including by introducing malware, scraping at scale, or launching denial-of-service activity);
• remove, obscure or alter any copyright, trademark or other proprietary notices.

Third-Party Links and Services

The Site contains links to third-party websites and services, including Discord, GitHub and Xaya. These are provided for convenience only. We do not control, endorse, or take responsibility for any third-party website, service, content, or conduct, and your use of them is at your own risk and subject to their own terms and policies. You should review those terms before relying on or using any third-party service.

The Taurion Game Is Separate and Experimental

The Taurion game is not operated through this Site. It is experimental, decentralised, on-chain software that runs on the Xaya blockchain (on the Polygon network) via a separate client and your own cryptocurrency wallet. We do not operate the game through the Site, hold player funds, or process any wallet or blockchain transactions through the Site.

If you choose to play Taurion, you do so entirely at your own risk. Experimental blockchain software may contain bugs, may change, and may result in the irreversible loss of in-game assets or funds. On-chain activity is public, permanent, and governed separately from these Terms — including by the rules, code and licences of the game client and the underlying Xaya and Polygon networks.

The Site does not sell, offer, promote, or facilitate the purchase of WCHI, vCHI, or any other token, cryptocurrency, security, or financial product. Nothing on the Site is an offer or solicitation to buy or sell any asset, and nothing on the Site is financial, investment, legal or tax advice. You are solely responsible for your own decisions and for complying with the laws that apply to you.

Disclaimer — "As Is", No Warranty

The Site and all of its content are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that any information on it is accurate, complete or current. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Autonomous Worlds Ltd and its officers, employees and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, in-game assets, cryptocurrency or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the Site, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Site or these Terms will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us to use the Site (which is normally nil) or GBP 100.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Autonomous Worlds Ltd and its officers, employees and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or connected with your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Site, or your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date shown at the top of this page, and the updated Terms take effect when posted. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the revised Terms. Please review this page periodically.

Governing Law

These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or the Site, are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malta, and you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malta, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have in your country of residence.
